This adorable cupid somehow snuck into my "use now" pile, so I just had to make a card with him. I paired him with a sentiment from an ephemera pack and a die-cut heart. A vellum panel helped soften the transition between the white front and the black card base.

Bits and Pieces: Chic Thanks
A bit of a different style for me, but I really wanted to use a few of the interesting flowers and wood veneer I had in my stash. I added a die-cut sentiment and a yellow leaf branch to tie everything together.

Sky's the limit
My Favorite Things - Mini Cloud Stencil, Lawn Fawn - Blue Skies stamp
Today's card is another relatively clean and simple card using a chipboard sticker, stencil and a matching stamp sentiment. One of the things I'm really into lately is mixing and matching different supplies. A stencil from one company, stamp from another and ephemera from a third. I think it really helps stretch out all those supplies and hopefully inspires someone else out there.

ST: Sending Joy
I mentioned recently that I really enjoy finding little treasures in my stash that I had forgotten about and thinking up ways to use them. I thought it might be a good challenge and some good fun to start a new feature on my blog called Stash Treasures. This will not only be a great creative exercise, but it will also help keep me focused on the supplies I've got instead of thinking about what new things I need to buy.
For today's card, I pulled out an ephemera pack from Fancy Pants' Oh Deer line. I remember getting the ephemera pack because it had two adorable deer that I wanted to use on gift packaging. I never did end up using the deer and the ephemera just sat there in a little jar.
I grabbed the "joy" word from the pack and paired it with a Simon Says Stamp Sending die. I added some warm polka-dot paper and hung a couple ornaments to the side that were echoed in sparkly enamel dots. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
