Avery Elle posted a new challenge in their challenge blog:
I decided to make a wedding card using Avery Elle's newly released So Happy stamp set.
I started by grabbing a piece of vellum and stamping the sentiment in Versamark ink. I then embossed it in gold and set it aside to work on the rest of the card.
I cut a piece of Avery Elle birch woodgrain cardstock to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2, and then diecut a window in the middle. I cut a piece of dark blue cardstock to measure slightly larger than the window. I created a diamond pattern by scoring the cardstock with my scoreboard.
After adhering the blue panel to the card base with tape adhesive, I added white pearls to each of the diamond corners.
I wrapped the vellum with the sentiment around the woodgrain panel and adhered it to the card with foam squares.
As a last touch, I added some golden sequins.
Supplies:
Stamp: Avery Elle So Happy stamp
Ink: Tsukineko Versamark Ink
Card Stock: Avery Elle Birch Woodgrain heavyweight cardstock, Avery Elle Sapphire heavyweight cardstock, Bazzill Vellum 40lbs
Melissa Frances pearls
Avery Elle Gold Premium Sequins
Scrapbook Adhesives foam squares
Ranger Studio multi-matte adhesive
So elegant and regal! (I tip a winner!).
