You have my Heart
Today's card features another set from Birdie Brown, called You Have My Heart, as well as the Tag Builder 3 Blueprints die.
For this card, I wanted to do something simple. I did some Copic coloring, then die-cut the image and matted it with some light peach paper. I grabbed a couple of papers I had from old card kits and adhered them to the base. After adding the panel with foam tape, I added a few peachy enamel dots.
All in all, it was a pretty quick and easy card to make, but I really like how it turned out.
Thanks for reading!

P.S. I'm hitting a MEGA busy patch at work. I'm going to try to keep sharing cards, as I've got a little pile of finished ones sitting on my desk. But if I miss a day here and there, or if I'm not as cheery as usual, please forgive me!

Such a sweet card! You have amazing copic coloring skills! Truly fabulous! I just started investing in some copics in the last few months and been experimenting with them to get the feel and all. Hopefully one day, I can be as good as you! :)
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you, Ka! Funnily-enough, I still think of myself as somewhat of a beginner - certainly not on the same level as some of the amazing artists out there like Sandly Allnock (her videos on YT are fantastic to watch!).
DeleteI think you're going to love Copics. They are a lot of fun to color with, and all it really takes is some experimenting and lots and lots of practice. :)
I so need the dollar to improve. My wish list for MFT products is growing longer and longer, especially when I see darling cards like yours. The little BB image is divine as is how you've coloured it....as always. Such a sweet card! Boo on work taking up your creative time! :/
ReplyDeleteI just got some more MFT goodies, too! They have such lovely, high-quality stuff. And I find myself really making a lot of use of it -- which makes it really worth it. I hope the dollar improves for you too! :)
